    Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the local planning authority the details, materials and the finishes to be used in the construction of the external surfaces of the development hereby approved shall be in accordance with the materials scheduled on the approved plan.

  • Limestone

    Policy

    Where the external walls of the building hereby approved are to be constructed of limestone, samples or details of the stone to be used, including any stone for any window heads and cills or plinth, shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the local planning authority. The relevant site works shall only take place after a one-metre-square sample panel of stonework showing the mortar colour, pointing and coursing to be used in the construction of the wall has been constructed on site and approved by the local planning authority.

  • Windows and doors

    Policy

    Before the commencement of the relevant site works full details of the design, materials, construction and finish of all new doors and windows to the development hereby approved shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the local planning authority. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the details shall include an elevation at 1:20 scale of each window type and 1:5 scale cross-sections. Development shall be carried out in accordance with the approved details.
