  • Replacement tree

    {\b Replacement tree to be planted} Following the felling of the one (1) Ash tree authorised by this consent, one (1) replacement tree shall be planted on the site. The replacement trees shall be either a Pyrus calleryana Redspire (Ornamental Pear) or Pyrus calleryana (Ornamental Pear), unless as may be specifically approved otherwise by the Local Planning Authority, and of minimum 'Standard' size (8 to 10cm girth at 1m above ground level) in accordance with BS 3936-1: 1992 Nursery stock — Part 1: Specification for trees and shrubs. The replacement tree shall be planted within a radius of two (2) metres of the position of the felled tree during the first planting season] following the date of felling. The Local Planning Authority shall be notified in writing within 7 days of the planting of the tree.

    {\b Establishment of replacement tree} Should the replacement tree required in compliance with the duty set out in section 206(1) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended) die or become damaged, diseased or be removed within five years of planting, it shall be replaced with another tree as previously specified in this authorisation.
