| Summary | A geospatial boundary or extent for listings as designated by Historic England. These areas indictate what is affected by the listing and we collect them from the local planning authorities. We are working with a group of local planning authorities to help them publish their data to inform planning decisions, and to develop a data specification for listed building outlines. We expect to eventually merge this dataset with the listed building dataset. This dataset is compiled from data provided by Local Planning Authorities. This dataset does not consistently show the curtilage of listed buildings for planning purposes. Therefore, this dataset should only be used as an indicative guide and users should do further checks before making any planning decision. |
