Reason To safeguard the amenities of the occupiers of adjacent properties. Facts
Description Prior to the commencement of any cooking activities taking place at the premises (including, but not exclusively, use of ovens, friers, stove-top, grilling, griddles and charcoal methods of cooking), details of an extraction/ventilation system to control the emission of cooking smells and fumes so as to prevent any odour disamenity to nearby residents shall be submitted to and approved by the local planning authority in writing. The approved scheme shall be installed and be fully operational when the cooking activity commences. All equipment installed as part of the scheme shall thereafter be operated and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. The system shall be so designed as to ensure that noise from its operation does not cause adverse impact to nearby residents. Facts
